【內(nèi)容簡介】
當(dāng)一架美國核子潛艇的隊員在雷達熒幕上發(fā)現(xiàn)一件不明物體之際，潛艇突然被撞擊，沉沒于一個無底深淵，由巴德為首的鉆油工人奉命前往拯救潛艇隊員，這群拯救隊伍還包括科菲中尉率領(lǐng)的水底軍事專家，科菲中尉的秘密任務(wù)是找回艇上的150枚核彈頭，然而當(dāng)拯救隊到達了一個位于水面下2000多英尺深的石層上時，遇到了種種前所未有的困難。先是海面上的風(fēng)暴和器材的不足給工作帶來阻礙，然后是潛水倉周圍有奇怪的物體出現(xiàn)給人帶來混亂，在萬分危機的時刻，科菲中尉卻因為一意孤行而導(dǎo)致一枚核彈墜向暗藏不明生物的深淵。
在光線也無法到達的深海隱藏著不為人知的奇異生物。
